Neko Case 054/365

    If I knew there was going to be a 3 song limit I would have gone snappy happy in the first 3 songs, but I didn't so I only took a few.

    Neko was brilliant. 20 song strong set. The sound was perfect. They're back in August, hopefully in a venue as nice as this one.

      Missed her on Sunday, the gig was cancelled due to illness :-( Glad to see she's doing ok again...

      goodness! Look at that wide mouth! Well, Neko used to bartend at my favorite bar in Chicago, The Hideout, and it was really nice when she played the Hideout Block Party this year...felt like a special reunion she was coming back to. I love her personality and her voice is really so unique and soulful...for some reason, I always struggle getting into her songs even though I see her as a strong and impressive woman.
