#210/365 Since my first attempt at the P&S off camera lighting was a fail, I thought I'd try it again. Some flashes like the SB-800 has an opitcal sensor. Meaning they will trigger by another flash of light. If you flash does not have this feature do not fret because you can by Hot Shoe Optical slaves for about $10. So what I did was mount a flash with an umbrella on a stand. I triggered that flash with my on camera flash from the point and shoot. I put my hand in front of the P&S flash so it would not contribute to the exposure. There you have it....a little tutorial on how to use you P&S with off camera lighting.
Thanks again to Martha the intern for standing in.
