One from last years 'archives shot from the top of 'The London Eye'.

Pousada Camburioca - our simple but nice little pousada for our stay at the Brazilian beach resort of Cambury. Shot on my g/f's D90 with my 10.5mm Nikkor Fisheye.

A bit of planning and PS post production on this one. I found a nice flat piece of beach at the end of another hot Summer's day. I asked my girlfriend to roughly draw a Brazilian flag in the sand and then set up her D90 with my Tokina 11-16 f2.8 lens on my tripod. We cleaned up the footprints as best we could and then I took a series of photos with a variety of passers-by in the background. This ice cream vendor made a nice splash of red. With the shot in the bag I then coloured the flag manually in photoshop CS5 using a paint brush set to 19% opacity. I think I'll have another go at the PP when I get home and have access to my graphics tablet....much more accurate that my laptop touchpad!!

I took this shot from the top of City Hall (see earlier pics) during the open day that allowed public access. Luckily while i was on the open balcony, they opened the bridge to allow a yacht with a tall mast to pass underneath (not featured in this shot).

You can see the skyscapers of Londons Financial district (Canary Wharf) in the background.

Spotted this English guy sketching the fishing harbour in Hvar while walking back to our appartment. Thought it deserved a piccy.
