Entrance to Angkor Thom. Every mode of transportation you can think of can be found coming and going here.
The locals taking a break and playing their version of hackey sack. These guys were charging people for pony rides but business was obviously slow.
The old library flanking the walkway into Angkor Wat. The rainclouds in the background rolled in like clockwork at 5 PM every day.
The reflecting pond is less spectacular during the daytime than at sunrise. Still pretty cool though.
When crossing the street, just go, they will avoid you I promise.
Hand-chiseling stonework. I can't imagine how long it takes to make these things.
Most stairways like this are closed, for obvious reasons.
Angkor Wat is surrounded by lush forests and trails leading to the outer gates.
These guys were shooting at monkeys with slingshots. I thought it was funny and tried to catch then in the act, but they were pretty shy.
The main road to Siem Reap from Phnom Penh is nothing more than a 2-lane blacktop strip.
