The Front Poo

The Front Poo

It has warmed up over here in the past few days, and against a comfortable evening backdrop this week I was introduced to the 'Front Poo' by Zak. It started like any normal poo, with the faint but distinctively sweet whiff of the nappy smasher, but it differed greatly from normal when I cautiously peeled back the adhesive nappy tags to find that the only area of impact was frontal. I am not quite sure how he pulled it off, but he did, as my careful and necessary navigation through four baby wipes, of his cracks, crevices and nicky nacky noos, bore testimony.

Here is Zak in calmer times, watching the TV whilst Lenny lurks in the background.

Groser Grasbrook

Groser Grasbrook

I haven't had any time to look around during my trip to Hamburg this week, so I've just taken a few quick pictures on my walk back to the Hotel each evening, using exposures of between 8 and 15 seconds on my little Canon S95.

Hafen City and the big freeze...

Hafen City and the big freeze...

The moon breaks through patchy cloud to light up one of the frozen canals of Hamburg's Hafen City.

Yes?

Zachary will be 10 weeks old on Tuesday. He is now visually tracking us in and out of the room and clinging on when we pick him up! Here he is getting ready to go out with us today in his great little fleece hat.
