25. Let's work on controlling those pesky hot spots (highlights) which burn a hole though the rest of an image. If, like me, you don't have an off-camera flash, you may want a tripod or an assistant, or some other means of stabilizing the camera if you choose to use the timer (delayed shutter release). Please see the example and further discussion in the Education Center. TWO PHOTOS ARE REQUIRED TO FULFILL THIS ASSIGNMENT, i.e., a "before" and an "after" showing the hot spot and how you have remedied it. The camera and main subject must remain in the same position for both shots. Post-processing to remove hot spots is not allowed (that's another subject entirely).
