Midi Skirts

From a time not so long ago, basically the early 1970s to the early 1990s, when long hemlines were worn by women of style and elegance. The Midi when introduced about 1967, and pushed big time in 1970, was universally rejected after the go-go Mini years of the 60s. But by 1974 Long skirts won over and were universally worn, until the ever strong Mini was revived again in 1987.

Midiskirts are back in force for Spring 2011 after a long absence.
