3 years

For some reason, 3 years ago when I took this image I was deathly afraid to put it online and show people. I didn't want the world to see all of my vulnerabilities and fears. But at this point, I see things a lot differently now. I've changed and grown as a human being, and I'm okay with this one now. Everyone is vulnerable. Everyone has fears. Everyone has insecurities. I think we just need to be strong and brave enough to accept them and embrace ourselves. The only thing we can do is move forward.

At one point while adjusting to take the image, I couldn't breathe. The octopus literally suffocated me and acted like a suction cup. I ripped it off of my face so fast...This was the hardest image to do.

This is the photo that reminds me of how much of a woman I really am. Standing tall.
