R354 Message Sender Close-up
Close-up of Soviet R354 Cold-War era message sender. The message was encoded and punched on to 35mm film (cut in half down the middle); this was then fed through the device above at high speed, sending the message.
A morse key is fitted above the keypad in case film wasn't available.
