1-2-3-4 Square VII
You don't want to see me Large On Black
One camera, two mirrors, tripod, four reflections. High contrast, low
light. Square format. Just experimenting and I needed a new icon...
True inspiration is when someone's vision is so strong and so
perfectly executed, it urges you to act immediately.
I have been truly inspired this week, and I had to act immediately.

I just come back to look at this picture. It`s so mysterious. Your face is more than half-concealed and to me it is not totally clear how you got the reflections like this. Moreover it symbolizes for me the state of a photographer who is often hiding his face behind the camera, but still in full view of what is going on around him. Great work!

This is unbelievably creative, Joel. Phenomenal. I think it would make a great icon. I really like the high contrast you've got going on in this image - so graphic and dynamic. Very cool.

That's completely different to your other works, but it's brilliant. This should hang on a wall of a photo gallery! Excellent work!

A shot which captures the inspiration that fuels all of your work, one that is also filled with a touch of mystery and intrigue. I think it captures that very real and strange sense we all feel when we see ourselves in the mirror, the inevitable question of: who are we when we see ourselves (in this case your photo capturing the different sides of one's understanding of self). And, of course, the tones are dark, dark dark!

Great concept. Very intruiging shot! Really pulls you in to those hints of reflections.

This is really perfect.
This "dominance of black" and the contrast... a bit of a demonic mood...
it is like "seeking the dark side for the kind-hearted soul"...
Congratulation, the new excellent icon :)
