"Here lyes the body of Anne Reade, ye deare wife of Henry Reade, Esqur, one of ye daughters of Sir Tho. Windebanke, Knight, Clerk of the Signet to the late Queen Elizabeth and to King James that now is. She was begotten of ye body of Frances Dymock, his wife, one of ye daughters of Sir Edward Dymock of Skeersby in ye county of Lincoln, Knight Champion to ye said Queen Elizabeth and her successors by tenure of his lands. She departed this world to rest with her Saviour xt ye 7th day of June 1624 in ye 53 years of her age, and left behind her issues of her body living 2 sons Frances and Robert, 3 daughters Margaret, Mildred, and Ann."

 

She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Windebank of Hougham & Haines Hall Berks 1607 by Frances Dymock 1611 daughter of Edward Dymoke 1566 and Anne Talboys / Tailboys of Kyme (her mother m2 Robert Carre of Sleaford www.flickr.com/gp/52219527@N00/n3u6L5 )

She was the great grand daughter of Robert Dymoke of Scrivelsby and Anne Sparrow www.flickr.com/photos/52219527@N00/8125490008/ and Anne Sparrow
