• I shot this of my nephew a few years ago. We were at Matsumoto's Shave Ice in Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. My nephew had just finished his snow cone treat and then sat on a bench fronting the store, looking lost in thought. And that's when I snapped this photo.

    Love it! It reminds me of a book a saw years ago, I don't recall who did it, of photos of children in Hawai'i called "Rainbow Keiki".
