Good day for ducks...rain, rain, rain. I don't mind though. It will green things up quicker!
This male Mallard was trying to distract us away from his mate that was sitting on a nest.

Heading to Toronto tomorrow for a few days...yay! I won't even mind if it rains there too!

This tiny white crocus popped up out of nowhere at the back of my yard where nothing usually grows. I don't know how it got there and I would of missed it except for a bit of light coming through the bushes. The white petals seemed to glow in that dark corner. It was as if the flower was swallowing the light. What a welcome surprise!

As we still have snow melting in the forest, there was a lot of water thundering down Crystal Creek Falls.

Happy Easter everyone!

Went for a hike this beautiful Easter afternoon - trying to work off some of huge buffet brunch we went to. This was taken while I was climbing this huge rock. Yes, I think I put a dent into all those calories I consumed today!

I was leaning on the railing of the boardwalk this afternoon, just daydreaming and enjoying the mild weather when I looked down into the pond and saw the clouds and sun reflected on the still water. The sun was playing peek-a-boo, in and out of the clouds. To me it looked like the sun got captured by the wooden stumps sticking out of the water. I'm so glad I had my camera in my pocket!
