An actual meteor! (And a spy satellite?)

You really need to view at least the 1024-pixel-wide version, if not the full-size, 3888-pixel-wide version, to see them, but this photo contains both a Perseid meteor -- the first I caught on camera, though I didn't actually see it with my eyes -- and an unidentified satellite, right nearby.

The satellite is not on the Heavens-Above list -- this photo was taken at 5:38 AM, looking west -- so I'm guessing maybe it's a secret military spy satellite. It appears again in my next two photos.

15 second exposure, 1600 ISO. See also the zoomed-in, digitally enhanced version of this picture.
