black rock city 2008, friday.
i think this is called "spread eagle". but not 100%. it also spun around. awesome.
this is kind of a cheat for my self portrait since technically adam pulled the trigger but i set up the angle and the lens opening, so i am using is because this is my favorite pic and one of my fave pieces of art i saw all week (i didn't see the poppies, damn it all to hell.)
took the green tortoise to empire today to call home and check in. saw the most amazing camel with a full articulating head. it got applauded and the way was opened for it on the playa. then adam and i went out to 2:40 and Hummer for the Howarya tasty franchise happy hour. thank you Family White. looked at more art, trekked back to 7:30 and Dart (home), and that night met the Howarya's at Peter Hudson's zoetrope, went to the tetris, kate's piece, a bunch of things. walked the esplanade to the OT, danced the night away. found howie ("I am so glad you found me" repeat/repeat), found steph/tim, found brent/ish/ivana/kim/matt. reunited, we danced danced danced.
walked home as the sun was coming up.
