389/730: Diamond geezer
When I need a precious stone or two, I always know who to go and see - Diamond Geezer.
He's a gentleman of upmost repute and never fails to get me the gemstones I need at a moment's notice.
Just like the other week... I needed the world's biggest diamond, and he just reached into his pocket and pulled it out...
And his prices are really reasonable too - that last diamond only cost be £43 billion. I've no idea how he can be so cheap.
He always seems to be in a hurry though and is forever looking over his shoulder furtively. I guess he's just looking out for more diamonds... I can hardly imagine what it must be like to be able to spot diamonds so well in all the most unlikeliest of places.
He's my new hero and is so totally splendid.
Even the police agree. After apparently observing my previous purchases, they took me aside and asked me to arrange an introduction with "The Mysterious Diamond Geezer". And I said, "why mysterious? His name's Oswald Smith of 27 Mornington Crescent, London."
And then they left. Just when I was just getting to know them.
