A happy new year to you all!
Another year blows past so quickly.
Next year, I've got no major traveling plans, so the photography may be reduced. Actually I've got quite a bit of work to do at home.

Sure, he will fall asleep after the first 15 minutes, regardless of the bombs exploding, the bad guys cussing and partially naked chicks parading (not in this film). But that's a good thing. It will prolong the value.

I came home and found these two at the window again.
Sure, they are from different worlds, .....but you never know......

Meet suicide squirrel. This guy is crazy enough to press his nose up to the window to say "hi" to Ron. Ron would like nothing more than to have instant squirrel sushi. Just one more crazy character that Ron chats with outside the window. Bunnies are chewing the plants, a fox barks outside my window at 2 in the morning (not the most pleasant sound) and a stray cat leaves a special message just for me, covered in a pile of mulch outside the window.
Ron himself has not had the best of holidays. On Friday I came out of the shower to find blood covering Ron's paw and he was trying to pull something from his mouth. I found an emergency after hours Vet Clinic and took him there around 7:00 pm. The veterinarian pulled one of his teeth quite easily. It had decayed from the gum line down and was infected (also bleeding). Ron is patched up but he is set for more dental surgery on Thursday (to remove the root of the tooth).
Perhaps suicide squirrel just stopped by to see how the Captain was doing.

Came out of my "shell" and went outdoors for a weekend of soccer. Our team did not win but none the less, I think a productive experience. And when the sun was out, the weather was pure paradise
