In our life time we collect lots of pebbles of memories, some small some big. The tiny sweet ones live with us whole life long, that is what today's image is, the "Gujiya". Small water drop shaped decadents, filled with love, are those rewards of childhood passed on from the hands of our grandparents.

The Deccan region of India has a different fragrance from the rest of the Indian sub-continent. Bringing the aroma of spluttering mustard seeds and curry leaves is today's presentation of "Rava Idli". A very authentic dish of the south India, made of a batter of semolina/suji/rava mixed with ground whole lentils. Infused with the above spices and some fried nuts, the puffed Idlis gets their form after a gentle steam session. All that is needed to be done now, is break a peace of this spongy delight, dip it in a coconut chutney of your choice and rejoice.

Pop, crunch then come the automatic curve of the lips, and the hand plunges for some more. The whole process of eating the world's most fun filled snack, the "Popcorn". The much like form of this, are the ones soaked in with melted butter, although a number of flavored variety are made to satisfy every taste palate. Movie time, sleep over, late night reading, or even watching the rain from the window sill, the popcorn is the best companion to go with.

Few friends drop in, or a game to watch on TV with loved ones, even a party starter; all these and more, need a versatile food which will keep the mood and flavor running with the pace of the people who are to enjoy it. "Chicken Wings" or known as the "Buffalo Wings", is the perfect dish which fits in all these scenarios. Hot and spicy marinated wing, baked and broiled to and optimum level of softness and taste. Subtle the heat with some cool beaten yogurt sprinkled with chives.
