This photo makes me feel like i'm in the middle of a remote place, when in fact i'm just 15 minutes away from New Zealand's capital city, Auckland. That's Rangitoto Island, a volcano in New Zealand's Hauraki Gulf.

Foggy morning in Tongariro
We were supposed to go on a trek this morning but it got cancelled because of the bad weather. Didn't want my disturbed sleep to go to waste, so thought i'd snap a couple of photos first.
That's one of the chalets where we stayed at. Pretty spiffy accommodation in the middle of nowhere :)
