Awww. Dylan just said... They have gold chickens!!! So fun.
I do worry about dogs while our chickens are out. The rails-to-trails trail is up behind our house and sometimes I hear people calling after their dogs... makes me a bit nervous. We have had dogs come down in the yard in the past.

Hmm... I would worry too! Kep is very good and will come in a snap when called. He also hasn't killed anything yet. Regardless, it would take spending some time around chickens for me to not worry about the possibilities but what chickens could we use as experience if they have the real potential to die? Oscar- oh he loves to kill things. Thankfully he's slower than he once was but chickens still wouldn't be hard. I'm sure I'll be just as concerned for my own chickens one day. Wanting them to be free but also wanted to insure their safety! A delicate balance.
