Smart car

    Very cute, and appropriate for the narrow lanes of Taiwan. But why isn't it electric yet?

      full-electric cars are currently still too expensive -- nobody would buy them. Plus, the electrical system needs to be prepared to support the power needs to electric cars. Thirdly, there needs to be places to plug your cars in when you need to. If these 3 things get taken care of, then electric vehicles may have a chance. For now, though, cars like this are efficient and handy!

      We have em here in Japan as well. But we also have hybrid electric vehicles. Yay for them.

      Not to mention Dan, that people are going to expect to be able to "fill up" their electric cars as fast as they can their gas autos. This is the main reason I see that fully electric cars will not see a wide spread, and instead fuel cells will rule the earth.
