Why do takes so many goddamn pictures and why are they so goddamn good!? You make everyone else (ie. me)seem lazy and untalented by comparison.

I work in a library and this photo makes me want to work there instead. Excellent.

Insuh. I have this obsession that I need to post at least 10 photos every day to Flickr. Not sure why but it's like oxygen for me right now.
I'll need to keep doing it until I can crack it or figure out where it comes from.
It forces me to shoot and process every single day. I've got this goal of building a 100,000 photo library of quality images on Flickr over the course of the next 30 years. It will pass of course -- I typically pour myself into things and get super obsessive until I get bored and then I abandon them all together.
I do enjoy the intensity and the discipline of shooting every day though and feel that it helps to refine my abilities in photography.
The problem still remains though that basically all I'm doing is technically practicing every day until I can figure out a more important and meaningful way to apply vision and real significance to the lens and camera.
Still I see myself as a little angel and lately have been trying to figure out what moved and motivated Angelo Rizzuto. www.newyorkmetro.com/nymetro/arts/art/15229/

I think that you underestimate how talented you are.

Investment advisor by day, and photographer by night ... what a life! ;o) Your obsession of 10 pictures a day has inspired me!
