Just what we need, a device to further encourage people to zone-out with zombie-like numbness right in the middle of public spaces! That's so cool! That's so awesome! Because since the dawn of time humanity has always benefitted from blinking lights in our eyes and people ignoring each other while walking right next to each other. Thank you Google for lighting the way.
In all seriousness, it's one thing to add access to information/data to our daily lives. It's an entirely different thing to bring that data "between" people in a way that stunts our access to each other and all the non-digital stimuli in the world – the original sources of that data in the first place.
