1982, Financial District, Shaklee Terraces,
444 Market St., San Francisco.
Skidmore Owings and Merrill.
One of San Francisco's most iconic office buildings, Shaklee Terraces is great to shoot from many angles both at day and night. The building ripples in all the right places and is the gift that keeps on giving photographically speaking. I've been shooting it for years.

Wow. Wow. and another Wow.
This is awesome. Love the lines, the perspective, the color, the curves, the sprinkling of lighted windows.
Save, obviously (from DM Uncensored)

I like the unhealthy atmosphere of this picture: the yellow shining of the building and the sky (did you use a color filter or PSed this pic?). Although the subject is not too exciting, I like the regular pattern and the geometry of this picture.

I'm a sucker for urban architecture. This is exquisite. The symmetry, the lines, the parallelism and the unhealthy atmposhere (as moritz noted) make it a definite

first impression was "well pinkish and boring" - but looking at higher resolution and realising that there are actually lights on in the building made it interesting. The lower left one is essential -

Garrr! Another TOWER. So adoration-of-the-monumental, so Atlas-Shrugged, so cold-at-heart. I like the warmth of the color, and the ripply surface almost makes it shine even for me, but I can't support this photo.

I Like the lines of the building and the color choices. Though they are not realistic, they are tastefully chosen and enhance the picture as opposed to being distracting.

Glad the Saves beat out the Hounds of Hell. I've always loved this building because of its curvilnear take on modernism. I can see how you might get this light because the surfaces are so reflective, but I can't recall seeing quite this color when we lived in SF.
