This is how the Lucien Moore house looked the first time I saw it in 2001. There have been many incredible pictures taken of this place in decay. It's size and architectural complexity made it all the more impressive as it drifted into a dark, Gothic oblivion. With the disappearance of most of the mansions of Brush Park in Detroit, it was a huge surprise to learn that it was being rebuilt as a project of HGTV.

Impressive architecture even in its decay, but I think when they renovated it, they took off part of the most interesting portion of it.
