The Sugar Fairy

The Sugar Fairy exchanged the gifts for all the commercial candy we picked up on our street before going to bed. Jbird was adorable and eager to leave his goods for the Sugar Fairy.

    omg i wish i had seen this sooner. i love it. cuuuute. turns out A only wanted to keep the lolly pops. he put the rest back into the big basket. Look at those cuties with a toothbrush. smart mama.

    What a good idea - I think the sugar fairy will have to fly this way as she has heard quite how much sugar is in our house! Can I spy fairy dust? how magic ;0)

    Very good idea... my daughter was more interested in stacking the boxes of smarties than she was at eating them... we got away with one box before bed which kept her up until 11 pm!

    yes, we did this last year and it was a hit. I was hoping if it went off well, there would be ease with this transaction for following halloweens. My boy does sort of get the candy thing, so I'm always a bit shocked that he was open to the sugar fairy coming. I let him have 2 things before we put basket aside for her to do her magic. And yes, always with a toothbrush. Those come at xmas too. And gnomes are Evi dolls.

    aw... we have those gnomes too. a matching set with green hats, they are the sweetest. my son had many questions about where the sugar fairy lived. "in which tree?" and "how does she carry the candy?" :)
