Because I have a power outlet installed alongside my component cables, but I ran the wire before HDMI existed. Wireless makes my TV more future-proof.

Explain to me in lamens terms. Just what is wireless HD? Which LCD. OLED or plasma screen has the best picture quality, as far as resolutions and contrast ratio? And I was reading about 4 Quad, which is essentially, moving the resoultion from 1080 to 2160. Talk to me please?????????????????

You really don't want to put that LCD above the fireplace. Besides the horrible viewing angle, having a fire isn't going to be good for it either.
