ah westcoast, you beat me again! yours say
2:02 pm and I was here at about 2:30
(according to my exif data anyway). Maybe I
should upload all the pics I took so we can
all look for ourselves in the pictures!
edit: I guess French Canadians were
disappointed that the French team didn't win?

hmmm... French Canadians, for the most part,
my Dad and brother Paul included, were quite
happily cheering on the Italians!!! There's
not much love loss between France and
Quebec/French Canada – has something to do
with a war back in the 1800's!
Yeah, we definitely should keep our eyes
out for each other. If it helps, I had on a
dark blue t-shirt and shorts (tried to go
incognito, either that or blend in!) I was
also checking out the evening news, just in
case a TV camera snagged me!

Thanks marc - I joined and added. Appreciate
your pointing of the way.
Memaxmarz - I would have tried to get in
closer, but that wasn't happening. Not even a
sardine could have squeezed in tighter!

As I was right in with the sardines, I didn't
dare ask who won! I figured by the way
everyone was acting, if Italy came in 2nd
they were exceptionally good sports!

The game was very interesting for its
exciting play and controversal events.
Congratulations to Italy.
