Description: The more I’m exploring and discovering this world of digital photography, the more I’m starting to appreciate cloudy skies!! You can’t please everybody all the time is particularly applicable when it comes to weather conditions! Windsurfers and kite-flyers love strong winds, white water kayakers are happy when its pouring with rain… and landscape photographers love cloudy skies!
I simply couldn’t resist the perfect sky that I saw when I opened my eyes on Saturday morning… so I grabbed my camera and headed off in search of some reflections!
The early morning sun had just lit up the canola field when I drove past this dam, but (of course) as soon as I’d parked my car and walked back to the spot, a cloud came over and blocked the sun. I stood around for a few minutes looking for the best angle and composition, and just as I was considering leaving and coming back later, the sun popped out again to add it’s brilliance and warmth to my landscape!
