the silk route traders..
Well it is absolutely awesome to be able to have the time to post my images on Flickr. I have been away for too long to care but I'm not completely out (yet).
A shot from my recent travels to places far and wide.. from some of the most amazing landscapes that I was fortunate to visit, experience and capture.
This scene of the double-humped camels from the cold desert in the Nubra valley in Ladakh, which is up North of India in the state of Kashmir reminds of the how the silk route traders used to traverse the very location many hundred years ago. It was fascinating.
I had absolutely the most amazing time during this trip. Hope you guys have all been good.

the camels add the glory to the sense of scale
so does the pristine blues with clouds add charm to the cold desert
and the sun visits to amplify it more with interplay of light and dark

I remarked on this one on your facebook page but can't resist saying something about this fantastic piece of work again. So beautiful and the camels provide the missing piece to show us how amazing this scene is, that sky is ridiculous as well. could easily grace the pages of a national geographic. if this isn't explored i'd be amazed.
