• sky looks like a water color painting. - 'macro maniac'
  • This is the Tonle Sap river. It looks huge like an ocean but it is just a river and a huge one at that

The color of water is more chocolaty and I tried to bring that out during PP but right out of the camera it didn't look so natural and there was hardly any contrast between the water and sky.
  • These were some kids who live in the floating village. For them this is their playground and I saw many such kids just going around in their boats and playing with each other
  • The sky was dramatic. Of course, I enhanced it a bit and now it looks a bit like painting which may/may not be such a good thing!
  • Love it! :) - Boomingecho
  • i want to swim here..but i dont know the art of swimming..:-) - santhoshgv

My newly created Facebook page: Moments | Photography

Am posting after what seems to be ages. I have been busy, tired, sleepy and lethargic all at once because I was down with sore throat, cough and cold and to make thing worse, I had my brothers wedding to organize. I feel like sleeping and waking up after a week but I had to get back to work and check and reply to 300 odd work emails I got. It is all too much to take.

Today is the best I've felt in the last 10 days and I decided to finally take some time out for my photographs. It has been over a month since I last took any photos but that is soon going to change as I will be out for a day trip during the coming weekend. Till then, I shall continue to post images from my previous trip to Cambodia.

Here is a shot from the Tonle Sap river, which is just massive and I actually felt like it was an ocean but it is a huge river full of fish. During the monsoon season, this river swells and it floods and immerses many hundreds of villages but since this is a common phenomenon, all these village houses are built to deal with the river water. They all become floating villages during the monsoon season. Its a very interesting place to visit and photograph.

I hope you guys have all been good. Have a beautiful day ahead.

This is beautiful! You should think of entering something in City Year's art competition: www.artofidealism.com. City Year’s is an educational non-profit that has young people serve full-time in schools working to improve student attendance, behavior and course performance in English and math. City Year is creating a new "Founding Stories" book to use and needs art to accompany the book. Check out the website, you could win a Kindle Fire! Thanks!
