My newly created Facebook page: Moments | Photography
Well, it sure is good to be back on Flickr after a break.
I just got back from our holiday and here is my first post from the trip. I'm sure a lot of you would by now know where this is but for those who've never seen or heard of it, this is the Angkor Wat from Cambodia. This is the largest temple complex in the world and is also a UNESCO world heritage center.
Cambodia is a fascinating country with rich culture and a dramatic history filled with many wars and a lot of death and destruction. In the midst of it all were these amazing temples built by the rules of the Khmer Empire. One such grand temple is the Angkor War which means temple of the capital city.
I lost my tripod on the first day of the trip because of my foolishness but what started of on a bad note, ended up being an amazing trip. To take this shot, I got up really early in the morning and took many handheld shots. This is a vertorama I created using two different images.
I hope you have all been well. I look forward to visiting your stream and catching up on your images. Have a good day, my friends.
