There are 8 equally cute little guys in this miniature poodle family. I don't think I've ever had more fun with a session.

These guys were part of a colony of beach cats that swarmed me in Mykonos recently. They were extremely friendly and loving, desperate for attention. Probably food too, though they mostly just wanted to curl up on my lap and be petted. There are crazy numbers of homeless and feral cats all over Greece. It was fairly heartbreaking to see them everywhere.

This is Leo, a real gentle giant. He's a mix of maybe Mastiff and Pit Bull, 105 pounds of pure muscle. He is very shy and understated but ended up having a really good time at his session.

My good friend Rigel, a Newfoundland, finally consenting to sit for me in the studio.

*** I've had a couple of inquiries about my light setup for this shot. There is a softbox on the left side, a beauty dish as an overhead light on a boom stand, and a bounce umbrella behind and to the right of the camera at very low power.
