I wish it could be a little crisper and exposed a half a step up. Once again, respect for the film, and the shot is there. But, it's not working for me.

    -(a reluctant) uncool.

What is it about film? I still have not figured it out. Do we tend to like film-based photos just because they look different from the majority? I don't think it's the main reason for my vote, but I have to admit it was the first or second though that popped in: this must be film. Sure enough.

I think the story is great: leading the little one out into the clearing, she does not see it yet, because she is too busy watching her step, but in an instant she will.

I like the framing and concept, but it feels a tad too busy, if there was only one person there, maybe... uncool

I think I might like it better with a bit of the foreground cropped out. it's close, but default

Bummer dude. Your photo wasn't cool enough for The Icebox. Feel free to throw it in the pile with the rest of the melted muck, and better luck with your next submission.

Cheers everyone. I knew the exposure was a bit under when I posted this, but pushing it just blows out the highlights so I was hoping the rest of the image would carry it. It's mucked!
