herringbone mittens

I love these so much, it took 2 weeks to actually take them off for pictures!

pattern: herringbone mittens by elliphantom knits

yarn: Yarn Nerd 1200 MHz BFL, dyed in custom shades of Dijon Yellow and Chocolate Red.

needles / gauge: 6 spi and 8 rpi on US #4's

mods: to accommodate for my gauge difference with sport weight yarn, I worked rows 38-41 two more times, and added 4 more rows to the thumb chart (2 increase rows, 2 decrease rows)
