Saturday's Plume
Panorama taken Saturday of the smoke over Lancaster. The exposure's weird because I was trying to get more of the texture. It really wasn't that dark on the ground.

Station fire from Antelope Valley
This is taken from the southern edge of the Lancaster Baptist Church campus with our Nikon 18-200 3.5 VR; not as sharp as the ones we got with the 35mm 1.8. Due to all the lights at LBC, the foreground is slightly lit, kind of a cool effect.

Another one taken with the Nikon 18-200 3.5, also from the LBC campus.

This one is taken with our new Nikon 35mm 1.8 DX lens. We were just south of Air Force Plant #42. Got the moon, but unfortunately also some powerlines.

Another with the 35mm 1.8. Love the texture in the clouds. A 4 second seemed to be the right amount to get sharp stars and detail in the smoke.
