      infinity
      looking into then
      fluid motion leaves a trail
      of wondering and partially
      developed scenes repeated
      variegated glass stained by
      hands that grasp fleetingly
      at decisions never made
      sometimes
      like a glass domed ceiling
in the night the images that pass shadows
      and recede
      almost to the vanishing point
into the past turn from formalism into impressionism
      reseed again like fallow crops
and then rattle off to become like cave paintings
stretching our imaginations as to why they were there
all this from a gentle stroke of memory
a touch of the button a few keys giving name a life
a word a picture how entirely mysterious
      these connections are my dear
and how infinite the winding road there
      and then the question
why do we all walk these passages
      together
      sometimes

Some might suggest the path of least resistance, or the path not taken, but then isn’t life a dance whose steps we make up along the way …sometimes we trip over our own feet, sometimes we stumble along in the dark, but we all learn the steps sooner or later!

I for one say go for it and don’t look back!

When I first saw this image I nearly fell off my chair after nearly loosing my balance and sending Jenny my cat who is sat on my Wacom tablett into unknown space.
So I feel this image is about balance in ones daily lifes and going in the right direction ( without GPS).............or am dreaming again.

Mum always told me I was sideways and this is a lot like one of my "flying dreams".

I often see the world like that...dont think it has anything to do with the empty 40 at my side.

    18. mary04 (60 months ago | reply)

But this IS a pretty pic, even halfway upside down...........I did'nt loose my balance but made Holger wonder what I was doing with my head turned halfway down :-)))

Have a straight sunday my Dear and take all the chances that come along !

wonderful! I would love to see things as a bird does...
