My Gallstone

This is the gallstone I had removed last Thursday. There were apparently a bunch of smaller ones too but this is the only one they gave me.

It's cool that someone's using your photo (kinda. sorta.), but it sucks that they are using it to promote something that DOESN'T WORK. boo on grandmas-wisdom.com. Bad bad bad.

      thanks for pointing this out.

it also sucks that they have distorted the aspect ratio.

Bile is actually a fluid created mostly of normal water, bile salts, and also fats. Bile will be firstly generated in the liver then produced by way of little routes inside of liver towards a duct. From there, bile goes by thru some sort of much larger pipe named common tubes, which ends up in smaller intestines. Then, apart from tiny sum that empties right in the small bowel, bile moves to your gall bladder via cystic ducts. Typically the gall bladder is usually a 4inch bag with a muscle bound wall structure that is located beneath your liver. Right here, most of the liquid (about two to 5 cups per day) is actually eradicated, leaving a couple of tablespoons of pure bile. A gallbladder behaves as being a tank until bile is wanted in the tiny intestinal tract for digestion of fats. As soon as foodstuff comes into the little intestine, a bodily chemical known as cholecystokinin is going to be introduced, signaling gallbladder to tighten.
