Today was gonna be a nice change of pace. I was suppose to do a model shoot in the afternoon, but the model never showed, so I ended up going out to the country, to try out a few new ideas I had, but they didn't work out. So instead I took a few nature shots.

p.s. sorry I haven't had time to respond to flickr mails... I will try to get to all of them in the next few days.

p.s. so remember how I said I just figured out how to do one of my ideas for one of my series...well after spending several hours on it, that ended up not working out. But, I do have another one on the way, so hopefully you'll see something cool from me by the end of the week...I'll also try to take a few decent pics in the meantime to post up here as I know I haven't been uploading lately, I've been lacking motivation lately to do much shooting. By the way, if I owe you a flickrmail I'll be getting to those in the next day or so.

Ran outside with my sisters for a quick picture
yesterday...wanted to do something special for thanksgiving but didn't come up with any ideas I could actually do in the little time I had. Hope you all had a great thanksgiving, and for those of you not from the united states you missed out! :)

By the way I've finally figured out a way to do one of my ideas for one of my series, so stay tuned for that...coming soon.

Read This If you like my work I could really use your help. I am trying to get this done in the next week or so, so I can have them available for people if they want to buy one for a christmas gift. So...please read the photo below this one, and if you have the time, send me a flickr mail with all of the photo's you think should go into the book. I am thinking of doing a nature version, and then either a mix, or a creative portrait photo book. Let me know, I value all of your opinions. Thanks!

A while back I asked for some input on what you would all like to see, photo series finished or daily uploads. I ended up deciding on working on the photo series but I have yet to actually take one of those photo's that is worthy enough to post. I've been finding out that most of my ideas for the series won't work, either because I don't have the equipment, proper location, or I just haven't figured out how to do it, and make it look good. I am working on figuring them out though a little everyday so, hopefully soon you'll start seeing some of those soon.

Today's photo is a simplified version of an idea I had that I wanted to do inside a car...but after three attempts over the last few months I came to the conclusion my 28mm isn't wide enough to do what I wanted to. So I went with a simple version of the same concept, and practiced some lighting today.

p.s. keep your eyes posted...I'm thinking of giving away a couple 8x10's as an early Christmas present to my fans so watch an opportunity to win a 8x10...sometime after thanksgiving.

Hey, so I am thinking of doing a photobook. Could YOU tell me AS MANY (flickrmail it to me if you have a long list) photo's as you want to tell me, of mine, that you think should be in the book. Thanks, you'll be helping me out a lot!! (p.s. if you want to help me out even more by sending me a flickrmail with several links to several of my images that you think should be included in the book that'd be awesome)

I am thinking of doing a 10x8 inch (25x20 cm) in size, photo book with around 40 pages. A softcover would probably be around $28, and a hard cover around $40. Then I would potentially make a 7x7 inch (18x18 cm) with again around 30-40 pages, and that would cost maybe $20 for a softcover, and $30 for a hard cover. What do you all think? Is that reasonable?
