Film House, as I understand, was the location
(if you can call it that) for a lot of the
"Carry On" films. Made on almost no
budget, they simply used the offices of their
production company for interior shots,
redressed to look like the requisite hospital
interiors, etc.
A friend of mine used to work there in the
late 80s, by which time it was some other
company's base. It's a large set of offices
of many floors, and there's always some
comings and goings, and I'd estimate that the
sign only refers to a section of available
space around the extant businesses that
reside there.
