plastic bag nightmare 001

Originally taken on March 22nd, Opposite Sea Breeze Apartments, just off Khayaban-e-Saadi in Clifton. This is one of the so-called posh areas of Karachi and yet the city's elite show such complete indifference to the hazards they inflict on their environment. This open ground is littered with trash from neighboring residential areas all round the year, and just beside it, there is a hospital.

A version of this image was published in the June issue of Les Exlporateurs, a Canadian children's magazine from Montreal. See: www.flickr.com/photos/zainub/517936416/in/photostream/

      Great (but depressing) shot!

I've used it as the feature image of one of my blog posts:

      Plastic bags suck

      Thanks for using Creative Commons!

I would like to use this in my presentation. This would probably make a good statement about the use of plastic bags. Thanks for using Creative Commons or I wouldn't be able to stand a chance in the computer fair.

      Thanks again!
