Bull Creek Park at 6:30am. No one there but me, two crazy pups, and loads of squirrels. It was such a peaceful morning with lovely light.

Just a cow by her hay rack on a bleak November morning, looking mildly astonished that the car with two wildly barking herding dogs stopped right by her field.

It's currently uncropped. I debated putting her off center a bit but decided that the centering showed off her ears and gave a nice impression of her bulk and pretty red hide. I brightened her a bit so her face is more visible. It really was a bleak, rainy day, and quite chilly.

These airy wildflowers are Prickly Poppies, glowing perhaps more than they should in the mid-morning sunlight. They always seem lighter than air to me, as if one day they'll float up off their stems and just ... drift away on the wind.
