We had tables like this at Wheel (now LBi) from ~2005-2007. One of the best office
furniture purchases ever. Exactly as useful
as it looks.
(Ours were square, not round, and didn't have
the pen well. The paper corners tended to get
dogeared, which looked untidy. However,
square pages are more versatile, especially
since they could peel off and stick like
giant post-its. The tables were on castor
wheels, which also came in very handy.)
That initially bothered me about the tables
too. But compare it with the amount of
printer paper an average-sized company
consumes per month. Or compare it with the
materials that make up a normal table, which
are often less recyclable.

Where abouts could one get one of these tables? Are they bought, or are they custom made?

Aren't they environmentally unfriendly at such huge page sizes?
