This tiny 3x4 photo came from an area in Southeastern Oklahoma that once was Choctaw Reservation. It is dated in ink "Taken Jan. 1943. " Oklahoma had only been a state for 36 years.

Terrific photo! Actually, they are worth just as much because they show all sorts of the way of life during the era. gem66 is right in that it is a "wonderful find"!!

Thanks nana cindy42. I agree. There is always SOME detail that makes an old photo worth keeping. Just think: The negatives are long gone...
