Libraries Build Communities

These photos were taken at Southern University at New Orleans, my university's ALA partner library. I wasn't "officially" volunteering there that day, just meeting fellow ALA member and MU professor Charley Seavey, who drove down with an SUV-load of donated books from Missouri, so I didn't get a yellow shirt at that time. The volunteers in the yellow shirts are from the Black Caucus of the American Library Association.
