You know what this is? This...is...my final challenge project for Nerd Wars #3. :)

Five down, one to go! The penultimate Nerd Wars project, a cotton Browncoat insignia washcloth. For this challenge, we had to pick a technique we had never tried before. I picked intarsia. Thank Cthulhu I tried it on this little washcloth, as opposed to, say, a Christmas gift for my nephew, because even this much intarsia is too much intarsia, in my mind. Never again.

Further concrete proof of our trip to campus. :)

Winding down the Nerd Wars projects! This is the wool hat I made for Lloyd, hanging out outside the Ricard Observatory at SCU.

Although Ricard Observatory has an 8' and a 16' telescope, they're not accessible to the public right now. The Observatory is currently being used as a research lab. But according to a sign on the front door, the University is working toward making the observatory accessible to the public again. For this, I say Woot.
