Plastic Ocean
See how many pieces of plastic you can find in this small sample of stuff that washed ashore after a storm. This is all over Ocean Beach in San Francisco. For more on plastic in the ocean and what it does to our food chain (and ultimately us humans), just Google or Bing "plastic ocean" or "Great Pacific Garbage Patch" or "North Pacific Gyre"

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Documerica 2.0, and we'd love to have this added to the group!
The original DOCUMERICA was a program sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency to document, via photography, subjects of environmental concern in America from about 1972 to 1977. This new group, Documerica 2.0, aims to revitalize that effort and highlight photographs that spotlight environmental issues. While the original program was limited to the USA, this group is open to highlighting environmental issues worldwide.

Hello Kevin
Would you like to submit images for a global environmental on-line art photo project, then please take the time and check out the new Flickr group Beached Marine Plastic Pollution, for www.marineplastic.org
Make sure you read the group information first before you submit. (we need names, dates and locations)
The aim of the on-line project is to create a larger awareness of the problem of plastic pollution of the world's oceans and coasts. Please submit your images and help from whenever and wherever you are, and also invite others to do the same.
Thanks
Steve

Hi Kevin,
I am working on a new website of one of my clients, a company in Tilburg, The Netherlands, that makes products for recycling. For the homepage, we want to use a photo of plastic in the ocean to put next to the article 'Our Mission'.
Can I use your photo? And do I just need to mention your name on the website, or how does it work? I've never used this license before.
With kind regards,
Linda van Leuken
