- The record for the largest man made park in the world perhaps should be given to the Presidio since every tree here was planted by the military.
- Very wet winter. I knew the grass canopy would be lush green. Late afternoon light presented the long shadows.
- Visible detail in the tree trunks officially sealed my conversion to digital printing. Yet, as of 2012, I still create (in the field) with Fuji Velvia transparency film.
