my default chocolate cake recipe is hershey's 'black magic cake'. (google it) i make it with my very own melts-metal coffee and double the dutch cocoa. frost with chocolate cream cheese. this cake keeps my menfolk enamored. *cackle with me* *:)

mayo in a chocolate cake? yeuch...
but it might just work... it'd just be odd to have a whiff of vinegar; perhaps the added acidity produces more carbon dioxide? definitely one to try out, however yucky the thought.
