   Very nice. The tie to the Half-Life franchise is probably what doomed it. Not "kid-friendly" enough.
   That said, there are plenty of custom decal and parts folks on the net to turn this into a custom set.

    They submitted it to Cuusoo, but it was rejected pretty quickly as Lego feels Portal isn't a suitable franchise to team with.

    it's rating in the UK is 12, the same as Revenge of the Sith, On Stranger Tides & Prince of Persia (which was also based on a video game) bit of a failure of imagination from LEGO there!

    yeah that makes some sense, altho Portal is the only Valve property I could imagine them considering. I wonder if both sides have reconsidered since the Minecraft deal tho...
